Nuclear Fallout - Fukushima, Japan.

I recieved this email from my Mom this morning, I have a few things to add....Please be aware that the people in Japan are being kept in the dark regarding the nuclear fallout. I posted a video on my FB yesterday.. They have shut down You Tube and are airing regular programming on the television broadcasts. In addition, Japan raised their level of nuclear emergency to a 5 this morning. That is on a scale of 1-7.

President Obama addressed the country yesterday. and said a few things I found to be disturbing but I'll just quote the one that disturbed me the most...

"Furthermore, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and public health experts do not recommend that people in the United States take precautionary measures beyond staying informed."

How can someone who has the best interest of his people at heart advise you NOT TO protect yourself???? Get real!!!!

YAH, AND LET ME GUESS.. .YOU WANT ME TO TRUST YOU AND THE MAINSTREAM MEDIA TO KEEP ME INFORMED, RIGHT???

He continues..."And going forward, we will continue to keep the American people fully updated -- because I believe that you must know what I know as President."

Are you laughing yet? Or headed to supper supplements to stock up? In addition. I want to share information on what NOT to do to protect yourself from radiation.

One more thing I'd like to stress.... DO NOT TAKE POTASSIUM IODIDE!! This is a completely inorganic compound. Firstly it is recommended only for people in a VERY high radiation area.. more than 50-rad/region. Secondly, it is VERY dangerous to people with Thyroid illnesses, skin disorders, and causes severe allergic reactions in people when taken incorrectly. It is COMPLETELY UNSAFE for Pregnant women, and infants. It can even cause Thyroid problems in otherwise healthy individuals and cause swelling in glands and side effects, yet unknown.

Scammers are selling these tablets at alarmingly high prices, and the tablets are flying off the shelves on the Westcoast.They are selling them on Ebay at at your local pharmacy too.

Here is something else to keep in mind!

The time to get really concerned is if -- and only if -- the Fukushima reactors suffer a fuel rod "meltdown" event which would release a massive amount of radiation into the atmosphere. The United Nations has calculated that such an event would send a cloud of very powerful radiation headed eastward, arriving on the shores of the United States and Canada within 2-3 days after the meltdown, depending on wind patterns.
